“Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.” Revelation 1:7
Easter isn’t just about what Jesus did; it’s about what He will do. The Resurrection wasn’t the end of the story; it was the beginning of the greatest promise yet to be fulfilled.
Jesus rose, ascended to heaven, and is now reigning as King. But one day, He’s coming back—not as a suffering servant, but as a conquering King. His return won’t be quiet or hidden. It will be undeniable, unmistakable, and unavoidable. The sky will split, the trumpet will sound, and the world will witness the glory of the risen Christ.
When Jesus returns, He will establish His eternal Kingdom. Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, and He will reign in perfect justice and peace.
The same power that raised Him from the dead will bring complete restoration to the world. Sin, suffering, and death will be wiped away forever.
But here’s the challenge: Are you living like He’s coming back? Too many people celebrate Easter as a past event but forget its future implications. Jesus’ Resurrection wasn’t just proof of His power over death—it was a preview of what’s to come.
So don’t just look back at what He did. Look forward to what He will do. Let Easter be a wake-up call to live with urgency, faithfulness, and expectation.
The risen King will return—are you ready?
