Sex, Gender, and Sexuality
Sex: biological status (sex chromosomes, gonads, internal reproductive organs, external genitalia) In babies .1%-.2% have ambiguous external genitalia, & between 1-2% less severe ambiguity. Traditionally, “sexual dimorphism” – di/binary physical diff male/female in species
Gender: Traditionally, flowed from sex with masculine males and feminine females starting from birth. Today, gender how someone feels, not how they are created which is “gender dysphoria”.
Sexuality: Traditionally attraction was to the opposite sex.
