Men as Prophets, Priests, and Kings

In this Real Men sermon, Pastor Mark uses Melchizedek, who is said to be a prophet, priest, and king as the basis for men to look introspectively at their strengths and gifting in these three areas.

  • Focus is on the WHO & we can miss the WHAT
  • Melchizedek is a leader and shares qualities with Jesus the perfect man/leader

Men as Prophets, Priests, and Kings

Genesis 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.) 19 And he blessed him and said, [prophet] “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; 20 and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!”
