Good News #6 – What Will Work Be Like in Heaven?

Have you ever thought about if we’ll work in Heaven? In this sermon from “Good News”, Pastor Mark talks about how God working is a model for our work and that, in Heaven, work will also be restored to the perfect plan God had for it prior to the fall. Because Christians work for Jesus, our good works will be rewarded in Heaven.

  1. Hell is an isolated quarantine with no purpose or progress. Heaven is the opposite.
  2. Some jobs will continue, other jobs will be no more.
  3. Some people’s hobbies will become jobs.
  4. People will do work they were made for and find purpose in.
  5. Your work will not involve the curse and be more efficient and effective.
  6. You will never run out of time to continue learning, working, and befriending.
  7. Your work will not be motivated or limited by finances.
  8. What you build will not be broken.
  9. The worst day of work in Heaven is better than the best day of work on earth.
  10. The good works you did not finish in this life will be completed in eternity.
