Wives B. Kids<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2). Mission \u2013 statement e.g. nation founding docs, sports rulebook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3). Minority \u2013 countercultural subculture<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4:Meahing: School of Pub. We will lead our families (Nehemiah 10:1-29)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cjoin with their brothers\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>10:1-27 list of names of heads of households publicly vowing<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the husband does not lovingly lead here\u2019s the options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>A battle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strongest personality dominates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone works around the least healthy family member<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eventually, Satan takes over the family &amp; everyone suffers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>=Good men form a fraternity to build one another up to bless women &amp; children<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#3. We will worship our God (Nehemiah 10:1-39)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Bible teacher \u2013 Ezra \u2013 6 hour sermon, 1 week Bible\/worship conference<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Church staff \u2013 \u201cpriests &amp; Levites\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Worship leaders \u2013 \u201csingers\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Group Leaders \u2013 \u201cgatekeepers\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>-Why men not worship in church?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>-? MEN &#8211; own their faith &amp; lead their family in worship? Brad. Wilcox. SONS\/DAUG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#4. We will only marry believers (Nehemiah 10:30)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe will not give our daughters to the peoples of the land or take their daughters for our sons.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 MOST important decisions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Your God<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your Spouse<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Lowest divorce rate &amp; highest marital satisfaction = 2 active believers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highest divorce rate &amp; lowest marital satisfaction \u2013 2 active diff\u2019t religions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>=Kids in a divided house \u2013 confused, spiritual warfare, divided<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#5. We will conduct business ethically (Nehemiah 10:31)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>if the peoples of the land bring in goods or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, we will not buy from them on the Sabbath or on a holy day.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Sabbath is a grace not a law (breathe out vs in)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can work 6 days a week w\/God\u2019s blessing, or 7 days a week w\/o God\u2019s blessing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>= Witness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#6. We will give generously (10:32-38)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We obligate ourselves to bring the firstfruits&#8230;to the house of the LORD<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God FIRST<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Most people are funding darkness, and God\u2019s people fund the light<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acts 20:35 \u201cJesus&#8230;said, \u2018It is more blessed to give than to receive.\u2019 \u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>% &amp; RECURRING<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Christianity has a pay it forward plan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>= e.g. 2 days 3600 people<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>#7. We will make church a priority (Nehemiah 10:35)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>We will not neglect the house of our God.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>True revival inside out = crime &amp; social unrest DOWN, peace &amp; prosperity up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>YOU &amp; YOUR FAMILY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>If Church is last, it will never happen (sports, tire, hobbies, distractions)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is a good time of year to make your personal\/family mission statement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Write it down<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share it for accountability<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>OUR CHURCH FAMILY<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Remnant &amp; Revival<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Missionary (Real Faith) vs Monastery (Trinity)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invite people into a diff\u2019t culture<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Real Men photo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>PRAY &amp; Invite Band Up<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rebuilding Home Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Pray for continued health, unity, joy, and momentum in our church family.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give your pledge to the Rebuilding Home Campaign<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fulfill your pledge to the Rebuilding Home Campaign by December 31<sup>st<\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue giving to the General Fund and set up Recurring Giving for 2022<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false,"gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"html"}]},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Nehemiah 10, Pastor Mark preaches on the church family mission statement many of the men signed in that day, which was a covenant to lead their families in the ways of God as their church and city grew.
