His Gift For You #3 – Jesus is a Gift for both Religious and Rebellious People

If we are honest, we tend either toward religion or rebellion. Those who tend toward religion can lack empathy for others, feel morally superior, and judge people. Those who tend toward rebellion can be selfishly entitled, indulgent, and act foolishly. Sometimes people swing from one extreme to the other. Other times, religious and rebellious people criticize one another and are often both right. In the classic story of The Prodigal Son, we see how their Father deals with a religious and a rebellious son. The one telling the story is Jesus the redeeming Son who is the gift God gives to deliver us from both religion and rebellion.
